This Giving Tuesday, we've identified two organizations that directly benefit WSD students and staff – WSD Lunch Heroes and The Wentzville School District Foundation. 

Giving Tuesday is a movement created to unleash the power of radical generosity around the world and takes place each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. 

• Lunch Heroes: A hungry child cannot learn, and it is the hope of the Lunch Heroes Program that no child leaves the cafeteria hungry. This program helps families who are struggling to keep up with paying for school breakfast and lunch.
• WSD Foundation: The WSD Foundation believes that strong schools build strong communities. Since 2004, we have invested over $175,500 in teacher grants and provided scholarships that directly support WSD students. This year, they are expanding our impact by partnering with local businesses, supporting more student programs, and creating new opportunities to strengthen the entire WSD community. Your donations make this work possible by helping us remove barriers, fund innovative ideas, and ensure that every student has the chance to succeed.
